Two-word verification?
Holy Cow! I am absolutely hating that two-word verification thing when commenting on blogs. Anyone else feel that way? I hadn't really noticed it until Terri commented on it in her blog post this week. Anyone else having trouble even reading one word, let alone two? ARGHHH!! I have taken the word verification off my blog...so feel free to post comments to your heart's content (and let me know if you still have word verification from me, as I *think* I unsubscribed to it). So...now robots and spammers will be able to post comments...whatever!

Thanks for removing the word verification. It's beyond ridiculous. I've removed mine and haven't had a problem.

Yeay! I'm glad that you removed it. For what it's worth, I've never had it on mine and I DO get spam comments, but Blogger's system for screening them is very good. I get all my comments emailed to me so I do see them, but thankfully only once has one ever shown up in the published comments on my blog. Every week or so, I go into the comments section on my blog and scan the published comments to ensure that there aren't any spam comments, and then check the spam folder of comments to make sure that there aren't any real comments stuck in there. That's only happened once, as well.

I will remove mine when I get home. Of course, that's what I said yesterday - got home and never touched the computer. I'll try to remember tonight!

yes I totally hate it and am glad people are taking it off. It is hard to deciper one of the words and takes a long time to leave comments now and I'm sure most of us struggle to get around to everyone's blogs as it is. I've never used word verification in >5 yrs of having my blog and never had any spam fortunately.
You know, I did notice it as well, I am going to take it off mine too-- it is more than ridiculous these things. What is next?!!
I think everyone hates it. Interesting thing though -- I think they've made it easier to read now as of this morning. Yes, I took it off my blog too. lol!
Completely agree with you on the two word verification. Very hard in many cases to read. Plus I would rather save my eyes for stitching!
I just hate it! I did take mine off but now I'm getting all kinds of crazy comments from loans to sex type things, etc. I don't know what to do about it! But the word verification definitely stinks!
Yes! I hate that 2-word verification. But I understand why folks would have it activated since they're getting such nasty comments from anonymous folks. Jannie
