Stitching progress...

I am so excited because of the progress on "A Sweeter Love"  Finally, after about 3 weeks I feel like I have something to show!  The houses were very fun to stitch.  I was not crazy about stitching the pathway, but the people were really fun to stitch!  The woman was charted with red hair and the man was charted for brown hair, but I made their hair the color of my daughter-in-law's hair and my son's hair since this sampler is for them.

I have yet to chart the names which will go just above the couple.  The wedding date will go to the left of the woman.  The couple is slightly off centered which is how it was charted.  I about had a panic attack when I realized they were off center because I didn't want to have to reverse stitch them, but in double-checking my math, I was only 2 threads off from the chart.

I'm hoping for an end-of-March finish on this one!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Wonderful progress, Cathy! Funny that you mentioned the path because when I looked at it I thought "I'd enjoy stitching all of it but that path." The path reminds me of the rocks in the first block of Shores of HRH and I hated doing those. In fact, disliked them so much I tossed the whole thing! Shhh... don't tell!
Your path, the couple and the houses all look fabulous - what a special gift! Cheering you on to a grand finish!!!

It looks wonder!!! You've made great progress, but I definitely hear you about the length of time it takes to do these. I feel the same way - it takes weeks to have something to show.

It's going to make a wonderful heirloom with the personalization.
