House pics

Here's some pictures of the house I promised.
The first one is of the kitchen. I do really like fixing meals in here. I have a lot more space for all my "stuff" than my old house.

One of the 2 "splurges" we did was to order these plantation shutters. We absolutely love them. We got them for all the windows. I'll have lots of dusting...I'll let you know how that goes another time.

This is the other "spluge" we acquired...our new bad boy 65 inch flat screen. We're enjoying it until the bill comes from RC Willey! OUCH!

Here's an arial view of the family room. It's a very comfy room to sit and stitch and watch TV.

This is a picture of our entertainment center that we no longer use for entertainment. I think it's going to go in the basement, eventually.

Next, is a quick picture of Christy's bedroom.


I haven't taken pics of our bedroom because there are still quite a few boxes lining the walls...I'll eventually get them unboxed or hauled to the basement. The guest bedroom is a catch-all for everything we love but don't know what to do with. Doesn't everyone have a room like that?

On the garage front, the framing was completed yesterday before noon, and the electricians nearly completed their job last night. Roofing materials were just delivered and so I suppose if the weather holds out, the roof will have shingles before long. The HVAC guy is here and the stucco guy too...wow...things are moving along!


Here's the contents of my basement. I'm sure we're gonna need ALL these items some day...don't call 1-800-GOT-JUNK just yet...these are all prized possessions. Doesn't everyone have truck doors, canoes, Volkswagen seats, tires, bikes and wheelbarrows in their basement? No?
