Anyway...here's a few pictures of the progress on the garage. Today the floor was poured and the temperature was in the 30s F and freezing cold. I felt sorry for those guys out finishing the concrete...what a nasty job! Here's a picture of the gravel floor waiting for cement.
The first cement truck came at 9:00 a.m. and drove out into uncharted territory and promptly got stuck! ARGH!
I won't tell you what the cement guy, Chad, said...you can use your imagination. Here's a picture of Chad, he owns Gallery Concrete out of Spanish Fark...hee hee! A big shout out for those of you who live in Spanish Fork! I know I have several readers from there...we gotta love ya!
Luckily, the second truck came along and pulled him out.
Here's the first pour:
More progress:
And the finished product!
Tomorrow the framers will come...so lumber was delivered today. I drove right past it coming home and didn't even notice it until I left again! Wahoo!
More pictures tomorrow...I promise some pictures of the rooms of the house that are settled in and maybe a pic or two of some stitching! Tonight I'm going to settle in for a chick flick "Nights in Rodanthe". I'll let you know how I like it! I love Redbox!

This is so fun...seeing all the updates!
...still miss you...
Wow! Do you have any garden left?? That garage is huge! Shouldn't be long now and you'll get that stuff out of the basement. How are you settling in?
I can't read your blog at all with the dark brown background and the black text. You should change your text color to white or something. Neat pics though!
How fun to see all the progress. Love the pictures, it's great for those of us far away. Will look forward to more.
