My sweet dad passed away on Wednesday, January 14th. Here's a cute picture we took of him at his ranch in Wyoming in 2007. We had gone there as a family to spend some time in a beautiful place and enjoy his company. This is a picture of him that is so like him! His 4-wheeler took the place of a horse long ago when his knees got bad and advancing age made it really painful to ride a horse. Don't you love the milk basket wired on the front of his 4-wheeler so he could carry all types of important things with him? I still can't believe he's gone! He was a great example to me all my life and was a wonderful father! He will very much be missed in our family, but I also know that he is so happy to be with my mom again and my brother and many other family members!

Last August Wayne and I took my dad to San Diego for my nephew's wedding. Here's a picture of him taking a peek at the beautiful ocean sunset.

I am so sorry Cathy. It is hard to lose a loved one. It sounds like you two were really close. That makes for good memories.

Oh, Aunt Cathy. It was so wonderful to see your family this weekend. Grandpa will be missed so much!
