A cute little finish.

This past week I had neighborhood stitch day at my house. I like to keep my projects easy on those days because I spend a lot of time chatting (running my mouth) and not much concentration on stitching/counting. I punched a cute little bunny box topper that my sister Miss Cari sent me last spring. That was the easy part. Then I had to paint the little paper mache box and make it look a little old. Miss Smarty (Joan) told me how to put a little spackle on it...paint it black and then paint it blue. I then took a nail file to it to make it look even older. What fun! I really love how it turned out! Thanks Miss Cari and Miss Smarty for helping with my cute little finish! The punchneedle pattern is called "Signs of Spring" by With thy Needle & Thread.

How come I didn't get an invite to the stitching day?? ;)

Nice job on the box!

Oh my gosh sweet sister, your punch is DARLING!! I'm glad Miss Smarty could help you out with the box. Now I'm going to get my out and get going!! Right now I'm punching Shepard's Shade. It's 6" X 11" so it's huge, and uses 6 strands of DMC. Way too much fun. I'll get it posted as soon as I'm finished.
