I'm taking an online stitch and finishing class from Jackie DuPlessis through the Shining Needle Society. I'm working all the queen stitches, and feel like I'm becoming quite proficient in stitching them. They are pretty time consuming, but I'm almost becoming addicted to them...note, I said,"almost"...
This is the needlebook with all the stitching complete:
This class is basically a finishing class and I hope I can learn something from Jackie in the process. I'll show you my progress as it unfolds.
I just finished listening to the audio book "A Thousand Splendid Suns" while stitching all those queens. A fabulous read, sad at times, with a very sweet ending.
Until next time, have a fabulous spring!

It looks fantastic. I know just what you're saying about those queen stitches. I hated them at first but then I almost liked them......almost! LOL
Those stitches look hard! Way to go on taking on a stitching class. I was thinking about doing the same thing to expand my stitching horizons. The project you chose looks beautiful! Can't wait to see what other stitches you learn to do!!
The Queen of Queen stitches, indeed! They look amazing! I can't wait to watch your progress - Jackie's classes always look WAY too difficult to me but the finished products area always stunning!
