While waiting for my finishing class to start on Lady Jane, I stitched up Blackbird's Their Song. I stitched it on 40 ct Old Town Blend with the threads called for, Weeks Dye Works. I really enjoyed this fun and quick stitch.
I also stitched these little scissors holders for my sisters Cari and Miss Smarty for Mother's Day. The chart is from the spring issue of SANQ Magazine. They were fun to stitch but a tad fussy to finish. Nevertheless, I loved how they turned out.
The finishing kit for Lady Jane came a week ago and I just barely opened up everything to take a peek. Fabulous! Jackie has cut most everything to size and has given us the first set of instructions. The instructions look great!
I guess that's it for now. I've been reading blogs, but just too darn lazy to update my own. How did that happen? I've also started stitching Scott and Kim's 10th anniversary sampler, but I have over a year to complete that project. Pictures later! It seems I have spent more time kitting up projects than stitching them. Sound familiar?

Love the thread flavors on your Lady Jane and your BBD finish is one of my favorite designs from Barb and Alma. So pretty! Have a fabulous weekend, I hear we are in for more snow and rain.....where did Spring go?

I am so with you on the kitting more than stitching, I have to stop that, LOL.
Oh Sister Sister...you ARE the Queen of Queen stitches. Your work is amazing. I can hardly wait to see the finished product(s). And I love my Mother's Day scissors case. It is MORE beautiful in person and I cherish it...and I cherish my sisters too!
