A simple statement for a bunch of wonderful women! Saturday my cousins met at my house for a fabulous potluck get-together! Oh my! So much fun seeing everyone! Some of these women are cousins in law, but we feel the same about them as we do our cousins. These are women who we grew up with, went to school with, and played with on a daily basis as children. Those were the days...the 50s, 60s, and 70s! We ate, talked and laughed, reminisced, and just enjoyed catching up with one another! These women can cook, clean (heehee), quilt, stitch, and sew with the best of them. Our mothers were sisters and sisters-in-law in a very large family. They were fabulous homemakers. Most of them are gone now, except Aunt Leah, who made the party all that more fun! She is pictured at the bottom of the stairs, and in age-appropriate fashion, we are standing from oldest to youngest...ahem...I'm 4th from the top! I so enjoyed myself and was so sad when everyone left! The memories will live on for a lifetime! Thanks, girls, for an awesome afternoon!
P.S. We missed you Cari! Maybe next time!
