Jolly Holiday!

What fun! Enjoyed every stitch to the end...Thanks, Laura, for your generous giveaway last year!

I couldn't find a frame to fit this piece and so I found this little wooden board, a sheet of cool scrapbook paper, spicey red paint and a little Mod Podge...It's now ready for a Christmas display!

And now...pics of some of my favorite people! I hosted a bridal shower at my house a week ago, and a good friend caught some candids of some of my favorite people:
Christy and her BFF Sally(they've been BFFs since first grade)...Sally is buying a very cute and new townhome just a few miles away from our house. She is closing in about 2 weeks. Christy is moving out with her...oh the fun times they will have! This means, of course, that Wayne and I will be empty nesters...we'll miss her cute face at our house every day...after all, who will put us to bed at night??

This is a picture of me, Christy, Sally, and her mom Peggy, who is one of my BFFs!

This is a picture of me and another of my BFFs, Debby, who has had a bout with cancer this year! It's so hard to see a friend struggle with such a nasty disease, but Debby does it well with strength, dignity, and perseverance! And how cute does she look in that hat??? I {♥} you Debby!

Until next time....hopefully sooner rather than later!

I love how you finished off your piece. A great idea especially when finding the right sized frame is hard. Love your pictures and many prayers to your friend.
