Coming along on Paradise Lost. The little giraffe took me one whole evening watching the Olympics (and I scoop stitch). I just think he's the cutest! Now on to another tedious tree. At least the leaves on this one are all identical! I am totally used to the 40 count linen now, love it!
This morning I finished listening to the book "The Lovely Bones." Guess I can go see the movie now...if it's still in theaters. It was not what I had expected at all but still a book to give some thought to.
Next up..."A Girl of the Limberlost" It was one of my most favorite books growing up and so I'm going to revisit it... I love being able to "read" and stitch at the same time.

Wonderful stash Cathy!!! The Blackbird Designs new book is really wonderful and the photos in it are so serene. Paradise Lost is looking fantastic!!! Love the fun colors.

I can't listen and stitch. I miss too much of the plot. Skip the movie on this one though, it was not near as good as the book.
Paradise lost is beautiful!! I too, love listening to Audio books while I stitch!! it's a great way to combine my two obsessions:reading and stitching! =)
Such great progress on Paradise Lost. I definitely need to start that one at some point! And wonderful stash haul!! I finally caved and bought that BBD book today! Love it, love it! I've heard that the book is better than the movie. Maybe wait and rent it and save a little bit of $$!
I ordered the BBD book this afternoon. Why did I think I could live without it?? Must have been a very weak moment.
I am LOVING your Paradise Lost. Every part of it is adorable...that giraffe...how cute is that? I knew you'd get used to the 40 ct. It's so much fun...next 40 ct. gauze! Pretty soon we'll be stitching over 1 on dishtowels......NOT!!

Love the stash haul! I am SO eagerly anticipating the Blackbird book--I am making sure that I am here, waiting at my front door, every day this week, just in case the mailman should be delivering it. ;)

Great new stash, Cathy! I just ordered some things from Drema (all BBD stuff) and can't wait to get it. I want to do that Honeysuckle Manor sampler in the worst way PL is looking awesome - it's such a great design!

Oh I'm with you on reading and stitching at the same time. I love it! OUr book club read the 'Girl of Limberlost'. We enjoyed it being so close to Indiana and that area. I have Paradise ready to stitch and am enjoying watching yours grow.
