Halloween and other fun stitching...

I love Halloween. Christy carved a few pumpkins the other day. This one is for inside.

This is the front door pumpkins. Sorry Trick or Treaters...we'll be Trick or Treating with the grand-darlings this year...maybe we'll leave our treats on the porch and the first "Trickers" will get all the candy, if they are smart!

Here's my finish of a fun Halloween piece I stitched up a few weeks ago....

Here's Blackbird's Fond Hearts. I'm stitching this for the Swan Guild. We are stitching this all together for our February meeting and Valentine's Day. I've started the over one lettering...pooh...all the fun stitching is done!

Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to take two classes from Louise Henderson through the Swan Sampler Guild. This was Friday's class:

And this was Saturday's class: I have no idea why this picture uploads sideways, because it is not sideways in my folder on the computer. Weird...

Anyway...just wanted to show you want I've been up to this past month besides Garden Angel. My needle has been busy waiting for the silks for my next two projects: Paradise Lost by Plum Street Samplers and My Home Town by Carriage House Samplings.

Love your pumpkins and I love your Halloween piece. That's got to be one of my favorites.

And I love both your Fond Hearts and that class piece for the Swan Sampler Guild. Very pretty.

Love your pumpkins!

All the stitching pieces are gorgeous, your class pieces are so nice.

You will really enjoy Paradise Lost, it's such a fun stitch.

What wonderful stitching you have been doing! I should join the Swan guild again. I had a wonderful time when I did it before. Of course the sampler is still unfinished in the closet!
Love "Something Wicked". I just added that to my stash last month.

The pumpkins are fun. Love your display.

All of your projects are beautiful and your new class pieces look like such fun.

I too love both Paradise Lost and My Hometown. Hope to stitch them both soon.

Great pumpkins and stitching! I debated long and hard over those class pieces. I almost went for them, but I just couldn't do it budgetwise. :( I'll have to watch yours instead. Enjoy your Halloween!

Pumpkins make me smile! I love the orange fabric you chose to sitch Something Wicked on, it turned out awesome! Sounds like you will have a fun Halloween this year with your grandkids, take lots of pics!

Great stuff Cathy - I didn't get a pumpkin this year but you are making me a little envious. :) Can you tell us what linen you used for Something Wicked? I have never stitched on orange but love yours. I have that pattern in stash - maybe next year! Love your new starts too.

Oh, Cathy, now I have something else to put on my wish list. Love that Halloween piece and your fabric choice is perfect. The pumpkins are really cute, and yes, please, some pictures of the grand-darlings in costume. Mine are almost too old to do the trick or treating. And your guild pieces will be fabulous! Love that thread envelope!

Oooh, I'm psyched that you'll be stitching PL & My Hometown! I'm loving PL--it's a really fun stitch. I wish I'd bought silks for My Hometown but it's a fun stitch... just wish I'd used 40 ct.

Love your Halloween decorations! The pumpkins are adorable, especially the first one. :) Great job on the La D Da piece! Your Fond Hearts & Swan pieces are beautiful, too.
