Yesterday I babysat Miss McKenzie, Master Brayden, and Miss Lexie while mommy (and daddy) went to a family wedding. We packed up a picnic lunch and walked (well I walked with the stroller and McKenzie rode her little bike)to the park for some fun! Here's a few clips of the kids...of course I had to coach a little bit, but they did say what I wanted them to. I'm sure that Lexie is a genius!
The kids thought it was just the cat's meow to sit on a blanket and eat their lunch. Afterwards they ran around more than they played on the playground...it was hot and soon afterward they asked if they could go home...hey...you don't have to beg me...it was really hot and actually I was worried they'd get too hot... After we got back home, Brayden and Lexie went down for naps...it was quiet time for McKenzie, which usually means a video...and Gramma Cathy stretched out on the couch for a little snooze! I was exhausted but it was so much fun to spend time with my little granddarlings. They were just perfect...even the 3 stinkies I changed...yeah...it was worth it!
