Fun with a friend...

For the past month Helen from Australia has been visiting family here in Utah. We've spent each Monday at our LNS stitching together, going to lunch, and just general mischief of the sorts! First we stitched up this ornament that the Swan Sampler Guild sold this past summer "Christmas in Virginia", by Betsey Morgan. It was a very fun project to work on. There were several fun stitches to do and the little ornament also doubles as a needlebook! Here's a picture of Helen and I just after we did the finishing work. (I don't know anyone who really likes themself in a picture, but I think the pic is really cute of Helen)!

I'm glad you've been having fun with Helen! That's so funny -- I had no clue the ornament opened up! lol! It's gorgeous! Both are!

Both Christmas ornaments are stunning!! Nice to see you both having fun making them.
I am looking forward to Betsy's class next year in the UK.
