We're home again, home again, jiggity jig!

Oh what a fun and fabulous time we had on our cruise! We went to places I never dreamed of seeing! Most of all I did get to see the Pitons on the island of St. Lucia, pictured below:

We took a boat ride around the island of St. Lucia just so we could see these beautiful and majestic peaks. They were breathtaking in person. My pictures just don't do them justice. It was raining and so my pictures aren't that clear, but you get the idea! It was fabulous to spend 10 fun-filled days with Wayne and 2 other couples from our neighborhood. We laughed, ate, toured, took naps, slept in, got up early, and then ate again. I never thought I'd ever get tired of eating, but wow, by the time we were on our way home, I knew I needed to put the skids on eating, eating, and then eating more! All those buffets on the ship were so dang tempting! Colon cleanse anyone?

We wanted to stay, yet wanted to come home too, bittersweet that it's all over now, but we're back to work and regular life again, although dragging butt just a little bit. I'm still tired...wah!
On the stitching front, I have been working on a housewarming piece for Christy's BFF who just bought a townhouse in December. I started it right after Christmas and have been working on it when I get the time. It is a Blackbird chart called "Mildred's Garden House" from their Remember Me series from 2008. It's working up so cute and I'm having fun stitching it. It's been on plane rides, hotels, a ship, a catamaran, and several beaches, as well as right here at home in my stitching chair in front of the TV.
