I'm slowly making progress on Strawberry Sampler. I really have stitched a lot this week. Of course, over-one stitching takes more time than over-two stitching and so the alphabet has been a little time consuming. The next large band was the double-running band. It took me quite a while to think about how I was going to execute this. Thought about it all day and then spent the evening gittin' 'er done. The designer called it "back-stitch" but I turned it into the double-running stitch...my first attempt. It's not perfect, but I got the hang of it. This piece is giving me a lot of satisfaction because of all the different stitches. I was ready for a little stretch.

Thanks, once again, to Paula Sibbald for my Tudor Rose scissors, my A&E Needle Minder, and my darling fishy threadwinders!
The weather here in Utah this week has just been fantabulous! Can't ask for anything more perfect...high 60s and 70s, sunshine, no clouds. Makes me want to be outside all day instead of inside working. Hope you all are having a great week!
