Playing catch-up!

This Little House Needleworks project was one I stitched and had framed last summer when my camera was broken and so I never did get a picture of it...so here it is. I really enjoyed stitching this. It was my first LHN project and since then I've done quite a few other ones. Don't you just think Diane's designs are wonderful? Especially so after you've done a project with lots of specialty stitches and you just want something that gives you your "simple stitch" for the day? Better than a psychiatrist! (Not cheaper tho..) I've come to the realization that stitching is NOT cheaper than psychotherapy....and I'm sure all my stitching friends would agree. HOWEVER, stitching is much more fun than laying on some doc's couch and unloading on him/her...I can do that all by myself on my own couch with a needle and thread in hand!
This is my latest finish and I just got it back from Jill Rensel this week. This project was featured on the Bush Blog a month or so ago. I called right up and ordered it and then promptly forgot I'd done so...then in arrived in the mail a few weeks later. I started it and finished it within just a few short days. Then off to Jill's. She framed it just like the Bush's was framed. I really love all the colors. The chart is by Hand's to Work and is called Love, Me.
What can I say....Miss Mary Mack! This was another extremely happy stitch! I just love this crazy woman! Everyone needs her to keep them sane! It was a happy day when Miss Mary came to live with me! I had Jamie at my LNS, Craft Center, here in Salt Lake City frame this one for me. This is a La-D-Da chart.
And last, but certainly not least, Little House Needleworks, Miss Curley-Q-Ewe, brought her little pet along with her to live with me. I stitched her on 32 ct Waterlily over 2. She is now gracing my walls and making me smile. This piece was also framed by Jamie at the Craft Center. Notice my cute little sheepie pincushion? My sister, Miss Smarty, made her for me for my birthday last January!

All beautifully framed Cathy. Love the fact that you can go to Jill Rensel's studio in person.

I just love Miss Mary Mack and have her waiting in the wings to stitch. It gets to be a problem though as to what is going to be next on the list. So many beautiful things to stitch :)

Hi Cathy,
I think your "Love Me" is beautiful! Did you use all the called for fabric and fibers or did you change some?
Do you think if I sent a completed piece to Jill Rensel through the mail and specified how I wanted it framed that she would do it?
Email me at mtjacobi@chorus.net (poohbear email is my daughters :-)
Thank you, Teri Jacobi

Hi Cathy,
Your stitching is beautiful. Would you mind sharing what fabric you used for "Love, Me"? The pattern calls for 40 ct. Autumn Gold which appears much more yellow in the chart picture than yours does and I like yours way better. Thanks for your help!
