Mother's Day and Shepherd's Bush finish

Last night I started and finished the 2008 Shepherd's Bush fob. I was itching to stitch something colorful and fun and just could not put it down until it was finished. I nestled the fob atop my Mother's Day flowers. Hubby has a huge project in the garage (let's not talk about that now) and didn't get me anything...however, he did remember to say Happy Mother's Day! Whatever! What's wonderful about being married for 32-1/2 years is that I really feel comfortable enough about myself and our relationship that I knew he meant it and still loves me. So....Monday morning when I was out and about running errands, I stopped by the flower mart at Costco and bought myself the biggest bunch of beautiful roses I could find. I am REALLY enjoying these sitting here beside my desk! Also, I took myself to the salon and had my nails done for the first time in like 8 years! Wahoo! I finally got what I wanted for Mother's Day! :) Today is Wayne's birthday...he already bought some man stuff for his truck months ago (we won't talk about that right now) and proudly let me know that these items were for his birthday..... Whatever! HA!
Life is GREAT in 2008!
What else need I say??

Gorgeous fob Cathy! Love your flowers too...you deserve them. We're pretty much the same over here...I got nothing for mother's day however I had already got myself a box of chocs! ;)

But you can bet that I'm gonna be buying myself ANOTHER Vera bag & guess who'll be paying for it??? :)
