TV and movie junkie of late...

Gosh...have any of you guys thought of yourselves as TV/Movie junkies? I'm so into watching what I watch. Monday I went with a friend to the movies and saw "The Other Boleyn Girl" Oh my! I don't know much about English history so I've vowed to learn a bit! Yesterday I watched on pay-per-view Elizabeth, the Golden Age....it was wonderful too. Now I've ordered the first season of The Tudors on DVD from Amazon. I can't wait for it to come! I loved seeing all the costumes, etc....and such sexual indiscretions! Anyone know any good books to learn a little about English history in a nutshell?
Stichwise, I've been on a finishing jag of late. I've finished a lot of fun things...I still need to download pics off my camera and I will do that soon and then post some. I stitched and finished Berry Pyne Box from Historic Stitches and Liberty Hill...gotta love those boxes! I finished a wool/box vintage pin cushion, and a needlebook/fob combination for a friend for her birthday. Since I last wrote, I also started CHS The Song They Sang. It's coming along. My first stitch with Belle Soie....lovely floss!
Life is good on the home front! The weather here in SLC is looking up..getting warmer. My grass is turning green...I like it to turn green but it also means the mowing will start up soon...not to mention the weeding and trimming...those things always cut into my stitching time!
I'll post some pics in a few...I've gotta get back to working before someone catches me playing on the internet!
