Where does the time go?

I can't believe it's been so long since I've written. I've been a stitching mad woman. I finished off Curley Q. She was so much fun to stitch. I think she's darling!

After Curley, I started and completed Miss Mary Mack. She has been so much fun to stitch. I'm thinking of making the inside of the heart on this piece red...what do you think? I'm going to have her framed in something black...

I think spring is just right around the corner here in the northern hemisphere. We've had 2 sunny days in a row! Amazing! I'm getting itchy to get out and do some yard work....I must have a fever...LOL!

Wayne and I finished up the 4th season of 24 last week, and the 5th and 6th seasons arrived by mail from Amazon yesterday. This week we've been watching the 1st and 2nd Bourne movies and have Ultimatum to see next. Wahoo....we'd seen the first 2 but wanted to refresh ourselves before we watch the new one.

We're going to our friend's cabin tomorrow for overnight. We'll be doing some snowmobiling with 5 other couples. I'm looking forward to getting away for a day or two...

NASCAR is back and I've enjoyed getting back on track with them all. Go Jeffy! Go Jimmie! This weekend the race is in Las Vegas...I'm kind-of sad we're not going this year. We had so much fun last year. Here's a picture of us from last year!

Lovely finishes Cathy!

We had a tragedy in Aust last weekend at the V8 supercars race in Adelaide. One of the drivers was killed in an accident on the track. Very sad.

I love your Curley Q, it's turned out great. Been tempted to get this one myself, maybe one day.

Sorry, I deleted my comment because I wanted to add my thoughts on Miss Mary Mack. I'd leave it as is, Cathy. I think the one colour looks fine. Gives it a primitive look. It's just darling btw.

Congrats on your two finishes Cathy! I love Miss Mary Mack - A must stitch for me one day! I'm sorry you're not able to go to the race, hopefully you'll still be able to watch it on T.V.!
