A little landscape first...

More progress on my Little House Neighborhood. I stitched the border and it matched up very nicely! YAY! I was holding my breath as the two came together. Then I went on to planting a couple of very fun trees. They were too much fun to stitch! Last night I laid several yards of sod. Looks like I might start the house next.

Last weekend McKenzie came for an overnight visit. She found an old bride dress-up of Christy's in the toy closet which she modeled for me. I could not get her to smile for us! Kenz...don't you know that brides are supposed to be happy? Maybe it was because she hadn't found her prince in the "Secret Woods" she played in the day before! I love this little girl!

So glad your border matched up, Cathy! And good groundwork on the sod and trees. :D And you have an adorable bride on your hands there! Ah, the days of dress-up....

Cathy, your LHN Neighborhood is fabulous. It is a hold your breath kind of moment when you're not quite sure borders will meet up! Yeah for you!!!! Kenzie is adorable!!!

That is so very cute! Everytime I read your post, I think you are talking about your new place...then I realize it is your other new place(crosss stitch)
You are still missed and amazing!
