New house pictures and update...

We finally heard from the bank yesterday that they accepted our offer! Wahoo! FINALLY! We've got a lot of paperwork, etc., to do, and the builder has to finish everything, We won't be moving for at least a couple of months, but could possibly close the first part of January.

Today I drove over and took some more pictures of everything. It still needs to be finished inside and has been at this point for almost a year and a half. The place needs some good TLC, but I think we can do it.

This is the entry way to the house.

This is a back view of the house.

This is the view off the back patio to where we will build Wayne's garage. Note that the other neighbors have play garages...I think the men plan to build underground tunnels to attach them all so they can have their play time together (we already know these neighbors, been friends for years). Do you smell a conspiracy? :)

Here's a picture out of the guest bedroom window upstairs...note you can see the Jordan River LDS Temple in the very background. Sorrym the time of year makes everything outside look very drab, probably because it is, unless there is fresh snow everywhere!

Here's a picture from my office window upstairs. I'll have a fantastic view of the Wasatch Mountain range every day! The house you see in the foreground is another house in foreclosure. We'll be living in a ghost town until the housing industry gets going again. But, I think the view from my office is my most favorite thing about the whole house! I'll take a picture again when there isn't as much smog in the air.

This is a picture of the windows in the family room on the main floor. This is the main living area of the house. We'll enjoy the great lighting we'll have year round.

Here's a picture of the street sign.

I'll download more pictures later. We're off to see the banker to get the paperwork rolling...

Congratulations! It looks lovely - I mean - I can see the potential with all your fabulous decorating and whatnot!!! (It still looks lovely, even unfinished!)

I am so excited for you. It will be fun that you guys get to pick the finishing details. I guess if your getting kicked out of your house, this is not a bad substitute.

What a wonderful view you will have as you work, and those mountains, I love and miss those mountains. Good luck on the house and the move.
