Finishing Frenzy!

I finally put the finishing stitches in Miss Lexie's quilt! I've had it pieced for over a month now and finally took it to the quilter...Aunt Sherrie, Wayne's talented sister! Thanks to Aunt Sherrie for a beautiful job done! She stitched Alexis on the top border and her birthday on the bottom border and it looks beautiful! With the design in the fabric it's hard to see, but the important people know it's there!

Lexie's Christmas stocking is also ready for its hanging site over the fireplace! Now Santa won't forget our darling new granddaughter this year!

Scott and Kim and the kids came for a visit Monday night. It was perfect because I was needing some granddarling time! There are so many cute babies to pay attention to...I just keep going from one to the next! It was a very fun evening! Here's Auntie Christy and Lexie...

And a pic of Gramma Cathy giving Kenzie loves after she accidentally cut her finger open...Oh My! The DRAMA! Brayden needed some loves too!

Ok!! How beautiful is that quilt? I seriously cannot believe you can do all of that by hand. I am amazed! When do we get to see you again? I think we need an Aunt Cathy fix! :)
